What five things do I treasure?
“However, you are chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, people who belong to God. You were chosen to tell about the excellent qualities of God, who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” (1 Peter 2:9 GW)
Do I see myself as chosen? Do I feel like I have a purpose?
We become a Christian by believing in Jesus and saying a prayer such as, “I give all I know of me to all I know of You, please forgive my sins, I believe You died on the cross and were resurrected.”
After saying prayer, we become part of God’s family, we “belong to God.”

God has an amazing purpose for each of us. Here He calls His kids (us) “royal.” We were chosen for something that He has planned for us. His plans are always magnificent!
