Five things that I am thankful for are:

And the wind ceased (sank to rest as if exhausted by its beating) and there was [immediately] a great calm (a perfect peacefulness). He said to them, Why are you so timid and fearful? How is it that you have no faith (no firmly relying trust)? (Mark 4:39-40 AMPC)
Jesus must have had a strong voice, for He spoke to stop the storm. Yet, I think His strong voice was tender. I wonder if it bothered Jesus that His friends did not trust Him. He cared that they were afraid. He cared how they reacted to the storm.
What is the storm in your life? What thought swirls in your mind? How are you reacting? God cares. Can you trust God to ask Him for help? Why?
When we invite Him into our “storm,” He can “immediately” calm the storm that swirls in our minds and replace it with a “perfect peacefulness.” He can change our thoughts of anxiety, fear, anger, regret, shame, guilt, sadness...His shaping our thoughts changes our circumstances!
God, Please calm this storm in my life and the swirl in my mind. Replace the swirl with Your peace. I believe that You can do miracles. In Jesus name
