What makes me happy? (5 things)

“Who makes everything complete, Who fills everything everywhere with Himself.” (Eph. 1:23 AMPC)

This verse is talking about Jesus, I had to read it twice. He “fills.” So many of us look for false fillers- achievement, people’s approval, food, social media, success, an addiction…

If there is an emptiness inside of us, it is because the love of Jesus is yet to fill that canyon in our souls. If you know about God or grew up in church you might have given your life to Jesus by saying, “I believe in You (Your death on the cross and resurrection), please forgive me for my sins, and I give You me.” At that moment, we become Christians.

However, if our encounter stopped there we have God inside of us, but maybe we didn’t realize it. Or maybe our negative thoughts seem louder than God. Jesus, fills us continually with His love, His hope, His joy...It is our choice to dive into His love, choose our thoughts, and invite Him in to “fill everything” in our life.

God, I want to dive into Your love, choose Your thoughts, and invite You in to “fill everything” in my life. In Jesus name
