What 5 things am I thankful for?

Words and thoughts by @micah_owings. A few years ago I heard a message. I even journaled about it. Funny thing is, I didn’t mark who it was that was speaking. In all reality, if you believe in Jesus and the Holy Spirit then you will agree with me that we both know WHO was really speaking!

Below are the notes that I took:

“Somebody knows how to get you from where you are to where you want to be"!

If you’re like me you ask yourself, who is this ‘somebody’? Is it a friend? Possibly! Is it a parent? Often! Is it a brother, sister, or relative? Maybe! Is it a close friend? Sometimes! Perhaps a stranger? Could be!

The truth is that God speaks to us!! God speaks to us in various ways & through other people! He might use one of our parents, Pastors, siblings, children, friends, co-workers, teammates, or even a stranger!

The important thing is to listen!! I also encourage you to invite Him to speak to you through others, and be bold enough to ask Him to use you to speak to others too!

Jesus, I invite You to lead me in every area of my life. Bring people into my life that speak Your wisdom. In Your name
