What are five things I love?
“God is good to one and all; everything he does is suffused with grace.” (Psalms 145:9 MSG)
Do you ever feel like God has let you down?
Our feelings tell us, “Life should be easier, that shouldn’t have happened, why is life hard, where is God?”
Life without God is harder. Our souls were created with a God-shaped hole, only Jesus (His Spirit, His love) can fill this spot. So, we have a choice to resist God, because life is hard and He didn’t do what we asked or we can embrace Him. So many people blame God, for life’s stuff, people’s wrong choices, humanity’s choice of sin… God in His goodness promises to help us get through the yuck in life and give us an amazing eternity.
We get to choose what we think about God- we can let our feelings lead us or we can see who He really is by reading the Bible, looking for the great around us, asking a wise believer, talking to Him.
God, when life is hard, I wonder where You are. If I don’t feel like I measure up at times-I blame You, forgive me, I need You to fill my heart, heal my heart, and lead me. In Jesus name
