“For as he thinks within himself, so he is.” (Proverbs 23:7 NASB)
We live out our thoughts. If we think happy, we live with happiness. If we think angry, we live frustrated. If we think hateful thoughts, they come out. If think badly ourselves, it effects our posture, our actions, whether we are kind to others. If we think about the bad, instead of the great our life will seem miserable. We get to choose what we think!
What do I think about? (About me, about people I live with, about my friends, about life in general)

What is the emotion I feel most of the time? (happy, hopeful, anxious, frustrated, peaceful, angry, disappointments...) Do I want to keep feeling this way?
If our thoughts are stuck in yuck, we can change them one at a time. If we think, “I hate this person.” We can immediately STOP and instead think—this person must be hurting, their hurt does not need to effect and wound me. How can I be kind, instead of returning hate?

Repeatedly STOPPING and CHANGING our thoughts will give us a great life.
*Refocusing what we think throughout the day is life-giving. When a negative thought pops in our mind we can choose to let is stay there or to refocus. This repetitive practice will give us an amazing life.
God, I invite You in to my thoughts to stop the bad thoughts and feelings. Please remind me of the good and great things. In Jesus name
