"I have loved you with an everlasting love, I have drawn you with loving-kindness." (Jer. 31:3 NIV)

What would your best friend say to you? If they knew what you were really thinking, how would they encourage you during this Covid season?

Friends are usually kinder to us than we are to ourselves. We can tell ourselves the same messages a great friend would tell us. Or we can focus on our negatives and continually remind ourself of those things we just don't like about us.

Focusing on our weaknesses or failures is not motivating and it has a negative effect.

Most of us want to hear, "You are doing a great job." "Keep going!" A great friend would encourage us! Thinking Great leads to living Great!

What messages are you giving yourself? Are these thoughts life-giving?

God, help me to stop when I want to focus on all of my negative qualities. Remind me what You say about me. In Jesus name
